Due to client demand, this Engineering company has an opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to be part of a team working on Oil & Gas design schemes, both on and offshore. Their expertise extends globally and they have experience working on many schemes across the world for lead Designers and Main Contractors. Responsibilities • Working on Oil & Gas schemes undertaking Finite Element Analysis • Assist Lead Engineer in delivering the work to the highest quality and on time • To work to the project filing system and other systems within the company • Work to instructions, targets and deadlines set by an Engineer • To write good technical reports • Use own initiative when required Requirements • 2:1 degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics • 1-2 years working experience in a Mechanical Engineering environment • Strong desire to work in the Oil and Gas industry • Knowledge of programming languages • Good team working skills • Good communication skills • Good technical report writing skills • Good IT skills, knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Publisher and Powerpoint (Desirable) • Knowledge of FEA software ABAQUS, PATRAN, ANSYS or CAESARII Please note we can only accept CVs in MS Word (.doc) format Last updated 18 June, 2010 |
