In the enviable position of being able to offer the Construction industry a complete solution from design through to installation, this niche External Envelope / Façade Engineering Contractor is actively recruiting for the role of Structural Engineer. Joining a small design team part of a well-known company within their operating market, the successful individual will provide Curtain Walling, Cladding and Structural Steel design solutions to clients across a range of Construction markets, both public and private.Responsibilities• Undertake Curtain Walling, Cladding and Structural Steel Design• Prepare Structural Engineering calculations and provide detail drawings • Review design drawings prepared by CAD Designers • Consider all Structural aspects associated with each project • Liaise with Architects, Building Service Engineers and Sub-Contractors • Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities Requirements• Experienced in Structural Steel and Curtain Walling or Cladding Design• Knowledge of British Design Codes and Practices • Proactive with effective time management • Good communication skills, both oral and written • CEng IStructE or ICE desirable Last updated 12 May, 2010 |
